Power to the Providers: Forming a Collective Framework

Mother/daughter team Juli and Dr. Ari Brazier from ATL Parent Like A Boss, Inc. (aka Parent LAB) are returning to facilitate our upcoming NAFCC Black Caucus Play Day. Keeping with our true fashion, we’ll do this in a way that celebrates the Black Joy and playfulness we have in abundance as early care and education professionals.
In this third “Power to the Providers” session, we will review our previous conversations and name what you see as foundational necessities for the NAFCC Black Caucus members and Black family child care providers in our country, both within our organization and in the broader context. Moving from there, we will begin to think about strategies to gird up our foundation and build a solid framework of goals and targeted actions to advance our profession.
