This year’s milestones reflect a powerful movement driven by committed advocates, partners, and champions who uplift Family Child Care Educators every day.

  • Reached and supported over 50,000 FCC educators and champions nationwide, strengthening the backbone of home-based child care across all 50 states and Washington, DC through membership, accreditation, professional development, and advocacy engagement
  • Invested directly in educator sustainability and leadership, welcoming 1,629 new members, launching the first national EmpowerHer Child Care Business Accelerator with $10,000 grants per participant, expanding tax coaching & launching new benefits for healthcare & retirement.
  • Mobilized a powerful, educator-led advocacy movement, engaging FCC educators in 15 bipartisan legislative meetings across 12 states and DC, generating 700+ letters to policymakers, and amplifying lived experience through national campaigns, policy webinars, and storytelling initiative
  • Drove measurable growth in FCC quality and access, including a 175% increase in children served by NAFCC-accredited educators and nearly tripling enrollment in accredited family child care programs in just one year
  • Expanded FCC influence through strategic partnerships, including convening a historic Global Home-Based Child Care Learning Convening.
