Valet parking is $48 plus tax per night. This includes in & out privileges.

The closest Self-Parking garage is the Mansion House, located behind the hotel at 300 N. 4th St.
Their current rate is $20 per day, with no in & out privileges. The Mansion House Garage charges cannot be billed to your guest room.

We do not offer an airport shuttle at this property.
Uber and Lyft are prevalent in St. Louis in addition to taxi cabs.

Please note that our parking garage clearance is 6’4”.
We recommend 309 N. 4th St. for oversized vehicle parking.

Mallory Mbalia

Director of Learning and Education

As Director of Learning and Education at Fred Rogers Productions, Mallory Mbalia advises and collaborates with colleagues to further realize the organization’s educational mission for children and families. She previously served as Director of Education at PBS North Carolina in Education and Innovation where she created and delivered educational initiatives statewide for infants to 12th grade and beyond. Mallory has also worked as an education outreach trainer for PBS North Carolina and was named a PBS Digital Innovator All Star in 2018. She has served as a home family childcare teacher as well as a kindergarten teacher and an elementary assistant principal.

Mallory has a passion for equity work, media integration, joy integration, social-emotional learning, and early childhood education. Equitable access and awareness are her driving forces for educator, parent/caregiver, family, and community outreach with joy and inclusivity as essential elements. She holds a Master’s of Curriculum and Instruction, a Master’s of School of Administration rom North Carolina State University, and a B.S. in Human Development with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development from Howard University. Mallory is a proud wife and mother and resides in North Carolina with her family.

  • President of Bay Area Professional Family Child Care Network, her county-wide family child care association.
  • Treasurer for the California Family Child Care Network, a state-wide organization.
  • On the Board of Directors for CocoKids, the Contra Costa County Resource and Referral Agency.
  • A Member-at-Large for the National Association for Family Child Care; and
  • On the Board of the Contra Costa County Local Planning and Advisory Council for Early Care and Education.

Additionally, Benu has served students from Diablo Valley College as a California Early Childhood Mentor Teacher since 2017 and has worked closely with Childcare Changemakers Community, a group of parents, child care providers/educators, and supporters coming together to fight for affordable child care for every family as well as living wages for people who work in child care since 2020.

Conference CEUs

Auburn University will offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for conference attendees. All attendees are required to sign-in at each session they attend during the conference.

Continuing Education Units-Conference participants may earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Please note that Continuing Education Units (CEUs) transcript will be available for purchase ($10 for one transcript) within one month after the end date of conference. A link will be emailed to all participants who have signed the sign-in-sheets during the conference sessions.

Things To Know Before You Head To Conference

COVID/Health/Safety

NAFCC will be following all required Federal, State and local government agency mandates related to Covid 19 at the time of conference. We will keep you updated as we get closer.

If individuals are feeling sick NAFCC advises you not to attend the conference. As we are concerned for your health/safety and others. Thank you for your understanding. Safe Travels!

Currently:
The City of St. Louis has lifted all COVID-19 related mandates, and the Hotel does not have any Covid-19 policies in place. However, some local businesses, tours & restaurants within the city may have Covid-19 policies requiring masks, proof of vaccination or negative test results to gain access to their facility. Please be sure to check the individual venue’s Covid-19 policies prior to arrival and/or purchasing tickets.

Hyatt Regency at St. Louis Arch is a cashless hotel

  • All guests will be required to present a credit card or a debit card upon check-in.
  • The hotel will do an “incidental hold” for $75 per night.
  • If guest do not charge any purchases to their room the hold amount will be refunded upon check out.
  • If there are multiple people in the guestroom only one person will be required to pay the $75 hold per night. (“tentative incidental hold” cannot be split on different cards).
