Maintenance & 18-Month Update

Accreditation is not a one-time achievement — it’s a sustained commitment to quality.

The Maintenance Phase protects your NAFCC Accreditation and reinforces your alignment with the NAFCC Quality Standards. Your NAFCC Accreditation remains valid for three (3) years, provided the required 18-month update is completed and submitted within the designated timeframe.

The 18-month checkpoint confirms your continued alignment with the NAFCC Quality Standards and demonstrates your ongoing commitment to:

  • Continuous quality improvement
  • Accountability to families
  • Licensing compliance
  • Professional growth

All updates are submitted through the NAFCC Accreditation Portal.
