Empowering Family Child Care educators to rise—from a strong foundation to new elevations of quality and professionalism.

The CDA® to Accreditation Pathway Scholarship Program supports FCC educators who have already earned their CDA® and are ready to continue their professional journey. NAFCC is partnering with the CDA® Council to award scholarships to active members pursuing NAFCC Accreditation.

Track 1

The Foundation Pathway (General Membership)

Building on your CDA® to strengthen your foundation in quality.

The Foundation Pathway is designed for CDA-credentialed educators ready to deepen their practice and connection to the NAFCC Quality Standards. Through this track, educators build a solid foundation of knowledge, confidence, and community as they take the first steps toward NAFCC Accreditation.

The Elevation Pathway (State Reps)

Rising to new heights through leadership and accreditation.

The Elevation Pathway supports CDA-credentialed NAFCC State Representatives who are ready to model excellence and inspire others by becoming NAFCC Accredited. This track recognizes leaders who elevate quality and advocate for the power of Family Child Care on a national scale.

General Membership Scholarships

Awards

Scholarships will cover the full cost of the Accreditation Bundle ($1085) for new accreditation only.

Eligibility

  • Must be an active NAFCC member in good standing.
  • Must hold an active CDA® credential.
  • Must attest to having no other current sources of funding or support available to pay for accreditation costs.
  • Must submit a brief (up to 500 words) interest statement demonstrating commitment to quality and readiness to engage in a reflective process.

State Representative Scholarships

Awards

Scholarships will cover the full Accreditation Bundle rate of $ 1,085. State Reps who do not qualify for the Scholarship are eligible for the Lead the Way Discounted rate ($600 for new accreditations, $500 for reaccreditation).

Eligibility

  • Must be an active State Representative within a three-year term.
  • Must be an active NAFCC member in good standing.
  • Must hold a current CDA® credential.
  • Must attest to having no other current sources of funding or support available to pay for accreditation costs.
  • Must submit a brief (up to 500 words) statement sharing their plan to increase interest among FCC educators in your state in the CDA® and NAFCC accreditation.
