How can I obtain my professional development hours for accreditation?
NAFCC is working towards offering trainings for all family childcare practitioners on our Elevate platform coming soon. Our Phase One Soft launch will be in late November. NAFCC will begin Beta testing in November. Family childcare practitioners can also locate trainings on Prosolutions website prosolutionstraining.com and coxcampus.org
When are weekly trainings going to resume?
NAFCC is in the process of re-designing what weekly trainings will look like. We welcome FCC practitioner’s input. NAFCC will begin a call for FCCs to participate in a Focus Group. Look for further information in late September. In November NAFCC will begin to offer weekly micro-learning (30 minutes) training sessions. If there are suggestions send those to NAFCC Professional Development department’s email at professionaldevelopment@nafcc.org.
Are there going to be trainings in my area?
NAFCC is in the process of gathering a pool of professional development trainers/facilitators to conduct trainings for FCC practitioners.
Will there be Spanish training options?
Absolutely! NAFCC embraces inclusiveness and is in the process of collaborating with like minded individuals and groups to provide culturally diverse intentional trainings to all FCC practitioners.
