Dr. Pat Minish has over 40 years of experience working with children, teachers, college students, and families. Currently a consultant her previous experience includes Chair of Strengthening Families Georgia and Executive Director of the Georgia Association for the Education of Young Children (GAEYC). She is credited with leadership, particularly in the area of professional development, including the initiation of the Georgia Childhood Care and Education Training Calendar, the Georgia Child Care Training Approval System, and the development of Train the Trainer courses. She has given over 450 presentations on the national, regional, state and local levels and has authored grants and curriculum materials for agencies and for child, school-age, and adult learners.
