Eboni Delaney
Assistant Director of Narrative and Movement Building
Eboni Delaney, a leader in early childhood education, advocacy, and community engagement, is the Assistant Director of Narrative and Movement Building at the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC). In this role, she elevates the voices of family child care educators, shaping narratives that drive policy change and movement building. With a deep commitment to equity and empowerment, Eboni works to ensure that family child care educators are recognized as essential pillars of early childhood education.
Prior to this role, Eboni made a significant impact as Director of Early Education Apprenticeships, where she registered and implemented the first early education apprenticeship in Texas—an achievement that reflects her innovation and dedication to expanding career pathways for early childhood educators.
Throughout her career, Eboni has demonstrated expertise in strategic initiatives, policy advocacy, movement building, member engagement, and project management. She is passionate about advancing policies and initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for family child care educators, ensuring they are valued, supported, and heard at every level.
Eboni holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership from the University of Memphis. She has also earned a Leadership Principles Certificate from Harvard Business School Online and a Digital Marketing Certificate from Google, further strengthening her ability to lead, communicate, and drive impact in the advocacy and education space.
