The National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) has partnered with Wonderschool, an innovative online platform that connects families to a diverse set of child care options and supports the providers, to recognize family child care providers who both use the platform and who are accredited through NAFCC with a custom badge on their online profile.
The NAFCC Accreditation process is an accomplishment that requires additional effort, learning, and quality systems to be in place and it’s important to both organizations to surface these achievements to families looking for care, as well as make accreditation more accessible to in-home providers.
“In-home child care providers are often underrepresented for their achievements, experience, and expertise caring for young children and supporting families,” said NAFCC Director Lanette M. Dumas. “With the Wonderschool partnership, NAFCC will be able to highlight the achievements of the many child care providers who have already achieved Accreditation.”
